Reno Tahoe Comedy Celebrates Our
1st Year Anniversary with headliner, Rob Cantrell

Reno Tahoe Comedy will be celebrating our one-year anniversary with headlining comedian, Rob Cantrell. Reno Tahoe Comedy is located at the Pioneer Underground on 100 South Virginia, St. in Reno, NV. Come out to one of the shows this weekend and enjoy a full bar with no drink minimum in a beautiful, smoke-free theater setting! The first comedy show is on Friday at 7:00pm and we’ll have two shows on Saturday: 7:00pm and an R-Rated show at 9:30pm.

There will be raffles for great prizes at all of the shows this weekend.

Reno Tahoe Comedy is thrilled to announce headlining comedian Rob Cantrell! Rob tours the world making people laugh, most recently at the “BONNAROO” music festival, “SXSW” music / arts festival and the “HIGH TIMES” Magazine’s “Cannabis Cup” in Amsterdam.   Cantrell has performed on several major TV networks, including Comedy Central’s Tough Crowd, CBS’s Late Late Show and as a “Top 10 Finalist” on the very first season of NBC’s Last Comic Standing (2003). Rob was born in Washington DC and grew up in Virginia. He first started performing stand-up comedy in coffee shops in San Francisco, CA after college. Cantrell is now based in Brooklyn, NY with his beautiful wife and daughter.

Your host for the weekend is stand-up comedian, motivational speaker, TV & radio personality, actress, author, and entrepreneur, Karith Foster: America’s Girlfriend. Karith is one of the hottest comics to come out of New York City according to both The Hollywood Reporter and Backstage Magazine who named her one of the “Top 10 Comics to Watch.” Karith stepped onto the comedy scene in New York City in 1998 where she has risen to the top of her game as a national headliner and became well known for being Don Imus’ sidekick on his nationally syndicated “Imus in the Morning” radio show on WABC Radio.

Karith has appeared on Comedy Central’s “Premium Blend”, NBC’s “Today Show” and “Last Comic Standing”, VH-1’s “Best Week Ever”, “Awesomely Bad…”and “Black to the Future” series. You may have also seen her on BET, BRAVO, and The Travel and Fine Living Channels. Some of Karith’s greatest triumphs include performing on “Showtime at the Apollo” (getting applause, not boos), doing live audience warm-up for the Oprah Winfrey Show and as guest on Oprah. Karith has been heard on numerous Sirius/XM shows including “4 Quotas”, “The Black Phillip Show” with Patrice O’Neale, and most notably, the “Howard Stern Show”. Karith has shared the stage with Lisa Lampanelli, Larry the Cable Guy, Dave Chappelle, Dave Attell, Tony Rock, Robert Klein and many more fabulous comedians.

Enjoy a bevy of guest comedians all weekend long, to be announced at a later date.
